B'nai Mitzvah Brings New York City to DC's Pendry Hotel

Aliza and Zoey's B'nai Mitzvah was truly a night to remember! This twin celebration transported guests to the heart of New York City within the stylish Pendry Hotel at the Wharf. From the moment you stepped inside, the New York City theme was unmistakable. Vibrant bursts of blue, purple, and green flowers adorned the space, while black and white accents added a touch of Big Apple elegance. Giant illuminated "A" and "Z" letters cast a warm glow, and the colorful dance floor pulsed with energy. Aliza and Zoey's personalized touch was everywhere. Their New York-themed logo adorned pillows in the comfy lounge area and a beautiful sharing table showcased their collage. Adults dined at various iconic NYC landmarks amongst elegant flower centerpieces, floating candles, and miniature taxi cab place cards. A clever subway map inspired by iconic NYC landmarks as table names and street names on lamposts completed the immersive New York City experience.

The food spread was a culinary tour of New York City, everything from sizzling Chinese takeout to classic, cheesy pizza slices! Guests enjoyed digging for prizes at the claw machine, pop a shot basketball, and a fun-filled photo booth reminiscent of Coney Island. Personalized airbrush sweatshirts printed with the party logo ensured this night would never be forgotten. The hora was a whirlwind of joy and tradition, a beautiful celebration of Aliza and Zoey's culture. Boba tea and Ben and Jerry's ice cream provided the perfect late night treat, but the true dessert highlight came straight from New York - delicious baked goods from the iconic Fat Witch Bakery. As the night drew to a close, kids took home New York-themed sugar cookies while adults enjoyed decadent brownies and blondies. MC Tee and his crew kept the dance floor popping, making it a night no one wanted to end.
